The role of this course is for instructors to implement a similar package in their Dojo to enhance a junior students experience whilst a member, helping them work towards their next grade developing essential life skills whilst connecting the Dojo to home and school life.

This course is suitable for ANY style of Karate or Martial Arts school or Dojo, that have children as members and want a tool to help with retention whilst adding value to their service
How it works
Each student receives a skills for life pack relevant to their next colour belt grade, which is packed full of information to help them work towards the next level.
As the student works their way through the pack merit stickers can be collected to show progress and award students for their achievements.

In each skills pack there are sheets which include a Syllabus, Action Words, School Achievement Record and Home Achievement Record. Plus additional information sheets. Each sheet is fully explained giving you all the information you need to adapt the pack to your school.
Who created Skills For Life?
Lee Taylor has been training in the traditional martial arts since childhood and currently holds the rank of 6th Dan Karate with the British Combat Karate Association.
He has been teaching professionally since 2005 with students from the ages of 5yrs and above.
